Intrigued by Dmitri Leaduhin AKA Force Grandeur”s artwork and his approach to the NFT field, we decided to dig deeper into the digital artist’s universe through an insightful interview with a twist of humour

 

Let’s start with a simple yet complex one. Who are you ? ( as a person, an artist…) 

 

A reflected phantom that came from the Eclipse. Unfortunately nobody knows when exactly it happened.

 

How did you become familiar with art and how would you define your artwork ? 

 

I think it started In childhood, through films (mostly American) and videogames (mostly Japanese) All my art follows a simple pattern Its the search of the sublime that lives between fingers. When you find it it expands the consciousness of all people. 

 

As you know, the NFT field is highly promising yet still largely unknown to the public. What made you join this digital shift in the art market ?

 

The idea itself. I understood that it is here to stay and to be honest I never thought that we will see such value in digital art in our life. Like all important revolutions it came and changed everything a lot faster than expected. 

 

Are you also into crypto trading ?

 

No. I trade human souls and cat's claws from time to time.

 

In your opinion, what are the advantages and disadvantages of this alternative system ( Blockchain, NFTs, Cryptocurrency) ? 

 

To be honest I don't see disadvantages at all. Still too young for disadvantages to be seen. 

 

What are the key challenges that digital artists are facing nowadays ? 

 

Actually the same as always been, only harder - to find your own voice; to not be influenced by anything;to commit to yourself. 

 

How do you perceive the use of technology in art and life in general ?

 

It's a double edged sword. But I think that the harder the technology-the better the artist will be in the end. All great artist were hardcore freaks from technological point of view.

 

 Don’t you think that the virtualization of art and museums alters the viewer’s sensorial experience?  

 

Yes. And this is actually the number 1 question in virtual art right now. Classic museums offer curated experiences. We don't have anything even close to it in virtual space right now. Those people that will find a new effective way to make curated virtual museum experiences will make a small revolution.

 

What does Cybersubstancia evoke to you ?

 

Tall lone station that stands in the desert field with thunderstorms and catches signals from all over the world.
